Do you like to drive tanks overrugged terrain, lob artilleryshells into the far hills, andblow up lethal opponentslurking around every bend? Ifso, then Tank Ace 1944 couldbe the game for you.In Tank Ace 1944 youcommand a World War II tankcharging to occupy the enemycapitol. Allied and Soviet TankAces advance on Berlin;German Aces advance onLondon and Moscow. At leastthat's what the orders from HQsay. But since you faceoverwhelming odds and areforced to scavenge supplies asyou go, you might just findyourself retreating instead.The goal of each round of playis to clear the enemy from amap sector and drive them offthe far bank of a river so thatyour side can cross andadvance. Skills you will needto accomplish this are aworking trigger finger, theability to navigate West orEast (left and right on theoverhead map), and drivingability sufficient to crash intoother vehicles.A status panel shows thenumber of enemies left, roundsremaining, fuel, and armorstrength. The last three can bereplenished by ramming (notshooting) an enemy truck. Ifyou run out of fuel or armor,or for some reason drive yourtank into the water, in additionto
an untimely death you willbe forced to retreat onesector.
If you wipe out theenemies you will advance onesector, retaining any excesssupplies you have scavenged.The game ends when
you takethe enemy capitol, or theyoverrun yours. Either way thebrass will want to have a talkwith you.

* Three tanks: Sherman, Tiger,or T34, each with movable turret and cannon.
* Destroyable 3D landscape.
* Perspective or overhead
view.
* Three difficulty settings.
* Enemy trucks carrying rounds, fuel, and armor.
