[10.07.21] Crystal Monsters (gameloft)

Gameloft have been nice enough to give us a quick look at their upcoming DSiWare title Crystal Monsters, a Battle Monster-styled RPG for the downloadable platform.

In the world of Crystal Monsters there are two kinds of people -- those who can see monsters, called "Neo-Seeds", and those who can't. As a young Neo-Seed you set off on an adventure to become the greatest Monster breeder. Sound familiar?

At its very core it's Gameloft's rendition of Pokemon. The game was released some years ago for mobile phones, then called Monster Chronicles, but it was never released outside of Japan. Now it's finally seen the light as a DSiWare title, complete with English translation.

The game contains 15 dungeons with 9 towns to explore, over 160 monster types all varieties with such types as Fire, Water, Dark, Wind and Rock. You'll also be able to brand 3 of your monsters with... the faces of your friends via the DSi camera.

Gameloft's titles have been hit and miss, but this still a pretty ambitious title, even if it is a port of a mobile title. Let's hope for the best -- you can check out the screenshots below. Look for it later this month.

老实说这期间智乐的游戏风格变了

但肯定的是那几款日本游戏在本买的应该还不错，要不然就不会再改成英文版来卖了
